Strugglebus

Previously only available as the soundtrack to a video collage released in 2010 using only Creative Commons-licensed footage. You can view the video here: vimeo.com/12041082

Don’t Swim With the Sharks
Previously released in 2012 on Hit + Run's excellent "Road Kill, Vol 2" compilation, which also featured Kutmah, N8NOFACE, Free the Robots, Nobody, Jonwayne, and many others.

Sister Vehicular Homicide
Released in 2014 on Hit + Run's "Road Kill, Vol. 5" compilation. Features production and vocals by me. A fairly dark song about a girl who accidentally kills her little brother with a car and has to leave town. This comp features Gonjasufi, Elusive, Teebs, Daedalus, Giovanni Marks, Zackey Force Funk, Crimekillz, Jeremiah Jae, and more. thehitandrun.bandcamp.com/album/road-kill-vol-5-hnr43

Blow Up
Another track that was previously only available as the soundtrack to one of my video projects. I talked to Buck65 years ago about appearing on this, and it looked like it was going to happen, but it never panned out. You can watch the video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=160fqTqMs4Q

Exchanges Among Systems
My blatant Kraftwerk rip-off. Appeared on Gold Robot's "Designed Entropy 1" 7" (2009)

I Love You, I Miss You, I’m Broke + Bit of Myself In You
I may be breaking the rules of the initial concept of this project, but 10 years ago, I was asked to participate in a project with a bunch of other artists where we'd each release a couple of songs under pseudonyms, removing the pre-conceived notions people may have about particular artists. I did 2 songs under the name Cozy Corners, and they were the first songs I ever released featuring my own vocals. The singing isn't amazing, I know this, but I was decently happy with how they turned out, and was thankful that this project happened because somehow it helped strip my insecurities away since I was recording it anonymously, but now I'm sharing the two songs with folks...
(released February 22, 2012)

Same Old Madness (Demo) (feat. Water Mostly)
One of my favorite old-school/new-wave Ministry songs. This was just a demo that Water Mostly sent me. I sat on it for too long, and then we lost the project files, so this is all there is. This take is QUITE different than the original. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsvyBiFA-fI

Pretty Ditty
Just a sketch

Breakfast (Unfinished Remix for Copy)
I was asked to do a remix for the song “Breakfast” by Copy. (soundcloud.com/audiodregs/breakfast) I ideated on it, but never fleshed it out.

Steamroller (instrumental)
The instrumental for my collaboration with rapper Mestizo (bomarr.bandcamp.com/track/steamroller-feat-mestizo)

The Idiots Are Ruining the World (feat. Lida Husik)
I've wanted to release this song for years because I find Lida's voice incredibly beautiful. We recorded this probably back in 2006-2007 and once again, never fully finished it. I hope she's ok with me putting this out. It just seems extra poignant right now, as the idiots are, in fact, ruining the world. I've looked up to Lida for many years, and she's released music on Astralwerks, Shimmy Disc, Caroline and Rough Trade, among others. I was honored work with her.

Fear in the Faces of the Formerly Ferocious
Old old instrumental from the mid-late 00s. I really wanted to have someone rap on this, actually...I did have someone rap on this, but he felt he could do better and didn't want it released, so here's the instrumental. Features some additional production finessing by the talented Mike Busse (Fritz Cook, Brothers Backword, Chronic Future)

Devil Level
Another one that's been kicking around for a while. The vocals are a little collaboration with my 8-year-old daughter.

Frost Heaves (w/ Denley)
Previously released in 2016 on Crown Colony's "Small Victories, Vol 2" compilation:
crowncolony.bandcamp.com/album/small-victories-vol-2

I Saw You (Demo)
Another unfinished sketch that I thought was catchy, but didn't know where to go with it.

Na Na Song (Demo) (w/ Davidicus)
This was the 2nd version of a track some friends and I passed along to each other as we each added to it. It ended up straying very far away from how it originally started, but I always liked the simplicity of how it started. Featuring vocals and instrumentation by davidicus, who I also worked with on my EP "Fleshslap in Vaporlock"

Bomarr

Bomarr is a self-made man of many hats: beatmaker, remixer, DJ, compilation curator & video artist. As a child, he was living-room-renowned for a mean Casio cover of Lionel Richie; these days he’s best loved for a different sound. Call it punk ’n’ fuzz electro-hop, or synth-heavy bass-favoring hypno-bounce, or just dirty digital fresh—Bomarr’s style is inimitably his. ... more
